Venues, courts and assigning matches

Venues and courts are the physical side of Scoreboard Live, and they belong to your club, not to a single tournament — so the same court can show matches from different tournaments on different days. A venue is a hall, a court belongs to a venue, and you put a match on a court so umpires and screens can follow it.

Create a venue

Open your club page and its venues section, then click add venue and give the hall a name.

Create courts

On a venue, open its menu and choose new court, then give the court a court name. You can also attach pause images — sponsor images shown on the big screen when no match is on the court; see Sponsor images and other screensaver content. Use edit court or delete court from the same menu to change a court later.

Assign a match to a court

Click a match and choose assign to court. A select court dialog lists your venues and their courts; click the one you want.

• The umpire app and the big screen then follow that court — whatever match is on the court is what they show.
• If a match is already running on the court, Scoreboard Live asks you to confirm before it replaces the running match.
• To free a court, open it and choose remove match from court.

A court with no match assigned falls back to its pause images on the big screen.

Drag a match onto a court

On a tournament page that shows the courts panel beside the match list — such as a cup or a team competition — you can assign a match without opening any menu. Drag a match from the list onto a court: the court highlights as you hover over it, and dropping the match there assigns it. The same confirmation appears if the court already has a running match.
